Cathryn’s energy, drive and design talent were just what we needed for our decorating project.  We moved from a Tudor-style house in suburban New York to a rustic house on a hill surrounded by nature in northern California. Our family would visit in a few months and we wanted to be ready for them. Cathryn jumped in and counseled my husband and me through every stage of decorating; creating a vision and game plan, itemizing the shopping list, providing recommendations from multiple sources, helping us to part with old furnishings that did not fit in, and presenting ideas for longer-term construction projects that we will consider down the road. Cathryn intensely engaged with our project, even when she travelled, introducing us to new sources in Los Angeles and New York for fabrics, rugs, furniture and decorative items.  She was open-minded if we had second thoughts about an item and presented us with alternatives. Fast forward to today, we are delighted with the results. The décor we selected with Cathryn is harmonic with the architectural style of the house, the environment and our unique, personal taste. Most importantly, for our family who came to visit, this feels like home.
